CTA Board Break-A-Thon

Today, we went to break the boards at the CTA Board Break-A-Thon for Wounded Warriors Project.

It was held at the US Coast Guard Air Station Barbers Point.

We had a great weather and it was really fun!

With all 5 schools, we have raised over $7,300!!!!
It was a big success!!!  :)

 

Testing Feb 22, 2013

Last night our son and I had 4th Mid-term.
Big Ram Jose didn't have to test this time.

It was a awesome testing and we all did really well :)

We got really good score on our form.

We did well on our weapon form too.

Our son and I will have another mid-term and next is for Recommended 2nd Degree Testing and after that would be 2nd Degree Belt Testing!!!

We will watch these videos and study what we have to improve and what we have to practice more!

Vacation in Japan

From December 21, 2012 to January 7, 2013, we visited my parents in Tokyo!

We haven't been to Japan in winter for almost 7 years so we were very excited.
It was very cold, however, wearing jackets and gloves was fun for us.

While our stay, we went to see All Japan Taekwondo Championship and visited Okazawa Dojo Saitama Center (ITF).
Isobe Sensei,  Head Instructor of Okazawa Dojo Saitama Center, welcomed us very kindly and even let us join their classes!
He is a great martial artist and a wonderful instructor.
We all had a great time and we learned a lot from them.
It was a great experience to talk with fellow martial artists.

We really enjoyed being with all of them.
We are impressed how everybody in Okazawa Dojo are respectful to each other and how they have a great sense of unity.
We are so blessed to know them and very thankful for their hospitality and friendship!
